Just in time for Caroline's party at the grill where all hell breaks loose. Long story short: Damon drains a partygoer and frames Lexi as the bloodsucking culprit. The sheriff nabs her then Damon swoops in and stakes her. A hero.

Wait, Stefan once jumped naked in the Trevi fountain and had a mysterious night with Bon Jovi? I heart him. And that smile. Alert the media indeed. Ok, back to the tragedy…

Damon has effectively cleared himself in the eyes of the sheriff but he has betrayed his heartbroken bro AGAIN. Damon stabs Stefan with a warning. Oh, it’s on. Also on: Caroline and Matt.
